New to coworking?

Think of it as a shared office

Coworking just means sharing an office. You get a desk, fast internet, a printer, coffee, and people to say good morning to. You don't sign a lease or pay for a whole office by yourself.

The loft is on the second floor of the historic Journal Press building on Main Street. It has high ceilings, tall windows, and art by local artists on the walls.

  1. Come on a Friday. It's free. Every Friday is a free day at the loft. Just email us first so we can make sure someone's there to let you in and show you around.
  2. Pick what fits. Buy a $20 day pass when you need it, or become a member for a set monthly price.
  3. Come and go as you like. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime. There's no lease and no long-term contract.

Questions

Good questions we hear a lot

Do I have to sign a lease or a long contract?

No. Day passes are one-time purchases. Monthly memberships renew each month, and you can cancel anytime.

Can I try it before I join?

Yes. Fridays are free for anyone who wants to try the loft. Email us beforehand so we can make sure someone's there to let you in and get you set up.

Is it quiet? Can I take phone and video calls?

During work hours (weekdays, 9 to 6) we keep the volume down near the desks. For calls, step into the curtained meeting area, away from the desks. It also seats up to 6 people for a meeting.

I'm not very techy. Will someone help me get set up?

Of course. Someone from our team is usually at the loft and happy to help with the Wi-Fi, the printer, or the projector.

Can I bring a client or hold a meeting?

Yes. The meeting area is great for client meetings and small groups. Desk members get priority use of it. For bigger gatherings after hours, ask us about renting the whole loft.

What's the difference between Community and Desk?

Community members sit wherever they like at the shared tables during work hours. Desk members get their own dedicated sit/stand desk and can come in any time, day or night.
